Felix Jones' season ended prematurely because of a big toe injury. Marion Barber's season ended poorly because of a dislocated pinkie toe.

All signs are neither toe will cause problems next season.

Word out of Valley Ranch is that Jones is running and cutting normally. Normally for him, which means extremely explosive by human standards.

Barber is back to his regular off-season routine of grueling workouts. Just ask Minnesota WR Sidney Rice, who has been working out with the Barber brothers (Marion and Texans DB Dominique) in Florida.

This workout is the hardest I've ever done. About every time I do it, I throw up.​

The fact that Barber is able to go through these grueling workouts should settle the stomachs of Cowboys fans.

Sounds like some absolutely great news out of the Ranch then. A healthy Felix to use in the running, and passing, game is going to be an enormous upgrade for our offense this season.

Does anyone have the feeling that this year we could have a back with 1000+ yards, a back with about 700-800 yards and a third with 500-650 yards? I'd be absolutely thrilled if things turned out that way. Especially if they all scored several rushing TDs a piece.

We'll see how it goes.

We'll see how it goes.

2400 yds is a very good rushing mark to achieve. And that's not truly great just pretty darn good. If we can do that and Romo can get 4500 yards then we will likely have the number 1-5 rushing, passing and overall offense. That's a tall order.

I'd be happy with 1800+ yds rushing and Romo getting his 4000+.
