It was a slow day in the Cowboys lockerroom during media availability.

So slow that Martellus Bennett commandeered the nearest mike and conducted an interview with rookie Kevin Ogletree.

"You look wet,'' Bennett asked. "Did you just get out of the shower? The ladies want to know.''

Bennett then asked Ogletree what he's learned from the receivers on the roster and what it was like to play with a great human being, a truly awesome individual, like Marty B.

"He's a stand-up guy, but he needs to improve his spades playing a little bit,'' Ogletree said into the camera. But other than that, he's a real cool cat.''

As an interviewer, Marty B is a pretty good tight end.

I see Spades is the new pass-the-time game of the locker room, replacing Dominoes from last year.

Good, spades is much more fun than dominoes.
