Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo takes a noteworthy streak into Sunday's game at Philadelphia.

Romo has won 12 consecutive starts in the month of November. He has 35 touchdown passes and only nine interceptions in that span.

Romo's December record is 5-8 with 14 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. He has never won a game in January.

He peaks this month. I think every calendar in his house or locker room should stay on November.

That's an unbelievable stat. Actually the last game he lost in November vs Washington, he played very well against a good defense and the team lost on that fluke Vanderjact/Sean Taylor play at the end of regulation.

Part of it (not all) is the luck of the schedule.

This year for instance, the Cowboys played Tampa Bay and Carolina (from the NFC South) in September ... the Falcons in October.

They play at New Orleans (by far their toughest game out of these division foes) in December.

It's just the way the schedule breaks sometimes.

I could have sworn they were calling Tony Mr. September a few weeks ago.

Our December schedule was brutal last year too. We played all top 5 defenses IIRC and with multiple injuries to skill position players.

This year's been different. He usually starts out fast and then fades in december. Let's hope this year he has his typical november, and finishes how he usually starts.

Tony, 5-0 in November okay buddy?

Man, 9-2 entering December would be nice. And it's not implausible. After these next 2 tough road games (Philly, Green Bay) we have a few cupcakes at home (Washington, Oakland).

Even a 4-1 November would set us up nicely at 8-3 heading into the last 5.

3-2 wouldn't sink us either.

It's too bad Romo has never played a big game in November.

Green Bay for home field advantage in 2007?

Oh wait that's right, the Cowboys won that, therefore it doesn't count as a big game.

Well, it doesn't get much bigger than this weeks game.

These are all the same things they used to say about Peyton Manning in his four season as a starter. Can't win big game, all stats no championships....goes on and on.

Be careful, rather than comparing situations, some mouth breather will say you are comparing talent.
