Tony Romo, who had a sick day yesterday, has reported to Valley Ranch and will practice today.
"I feel like 100 dollars," Romo said as he walked by reporters.
I'm not sure exactly what that means coming from a guy with a $67.5 million contract. Romo showed outstanding burst by scooting into the coaches' offices before anybody could fire off a follow-up question.
Wade Phillips, showing off that wry sense of humor of his, vowed to make Romo practice double today to make up for missing yesterday. Phillips doesn't expect TE Jason Witten (ankle) to practice today. He wasn't sure about RB Marion Barber (toe), who had limited participation in yesterday's workout.

After missing Wednesday’s practices because of an illness, quarterback Tony Romo returned to Valley Ranch Thursday and was expected to practice later in the day.
Head coach Wade Phillips said the Cowboys’ training staff has been keeping tabs on Romo and monitoring his health. Romo might not be 100 percent currently, but has been progressing to the point where his status for Sunday’s game is not in question.
Romo did walk by a group of reporters before the team meeting, kept his head down but did say, rather sarcastically, “I’m feeling great. I feel like a hundred bucks.”
For a guy that just signed a $67.5 million contract last year, that doesn’t seem like a lot.
