T.O. had by far his most mundane weekly meeting with the media of the season.

The most exciting thing that came out of his mouth was a statement that Monday Night Football isn't a big deal anymore. The spotlight, according to T.O., moved to Sunday night with John Madden. Take that, ESPN.

Model teammate T.O. did sport an interesting T-shirt.

Because of Monday Night football's drop in ratings over the years and Sunday night was drawing higher ratings, ESPN swtiched to Monday Night Football and the higher rated Sunday Night Football slot was sold to NBC.

Also, I agree with him about Monday night football...One, ESPN stinks...Two, that Monday night crew is ridiculously out of their depths...Love em or Hate em, Madden owns primetime viewers.

The loss of Madden & Michaels from MNF to Turico, Kornheiser & Theisman/Jaws just magnifies the decline that event is experiencing.

I don't know what their ratings are but I know give almost no consideration to watching MNF unless the Boys are playing on it. SNF, by the way, is great IMO, except for the studio stuff.

I honestly would prefer they just kill MNF. That way at least I could bring some closure to my fantasy team on Sunday night.

Maybe MNF could be replaced by a primetime kind of show - a couple hours long would be great with me.

No way. Not living in the DFW area anymore makes it much more difficult to see Cowboys games. The fact that MNF is a nationally televised game give me one more chance each week to see the Cowboys. Plus, sometimes they play games I have an interest in watching. Like last Monday's game. Giants vs Eagles game was a game I wanted to see and it ended up being a great game. Nothing better than seeing NcFlabb going down 12 times!

I remember someone running the numbers a while back about "defense winning championships"..... it wasnt a lock.... dont remember the specifics or variables....


Anyways.... if we win it this year.... I have a funny feeling it will be the offense winning the championship... or atleast the offense putting the defense in a position to be aggressive and to succeed.
