Trade deadline approaching

The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday.

Last year the Cowboys pulled off the Roy Williams deal with Detroit, getting the particulars worked out on a napkin in time to send in to the NFL before the deadline.

If there is one thing the NFL doesn't do as well as baseball it's the trade deadline. The NFL loves to chew up air time and print and Web space with free agency and Combine coverage, but the trade deadline is often an afterthought. With the salary cap it is difficult for teams to make moves with signing bonus prorations and things like that. It's too bad.

Anyway, I'm not going to ask should the Cowboys make a move, but I will ask what move would you like to see the Cowboys make?

And be real on this. Don't say, Bring back Terrell Owens or trade their seventh-round pick for Julius Peppers. Think about the other team on these deals and what they would want in return.

I'm looking for a pressure player off the edge because clearly they don't trust Victor Butler yet in tight game situations.

As soon as they know Jerry is on the line, the price doubles.

I don't think there is anybody out there for a decent value that would come in and contribute right away. I think the team now is what we've got for the rest of the season, like it or not.

Julius Peppers for a 7th rounder. :D

Okay, Spencer/Spears/Crayton for Julius Peppers and a 7th rounder. Oh, and Barbie for the Chiefs Derrick Johnson straight up.

Okay, one more. 4th rounder for Quintin Demps. Ken Hamlin, McGee & a 7th for Shaun Rogers. Okay I lied, that was 2 more. :p

1. Shawne Merriman (split with Spencer and Ware)
2. Glenn Dorsey/Shaun Rogers (back up tackle)
3. Trade Hamlin
4. Trade Crayton for a Free safety

If Dallas wanted to make a move that will improve them, they would have NOT signed Rossum and instead traded Barbie/Hurd to Oakland for Johnnie Lee Higgins and a draft pick. It's not like they need WRs there anyway. LOL

If Seau is playing I think we can bring back Prime Time or Darren Woodson

Seriously I think we need a NT and then move Rat to the End for a few plays a game.

Fred Robbins? NYG - Lots of Depth

Shaun Rogers? CLE Team sucks and needs picks.

Maake Kemoeatu? CAR Team sucks and needs picks.
