While Donovan McNabb and several other teammates continue to get slammed for not knowing NFL games can end in a tie, Wade Phillips didn't need to be reminded.

Before Philadelphia's tie against Cincinnati, he was part of the NFL's most recent kissing-your-sister game in 2002 when Atlanta tied Pittsburgh in a defensive slugfest, 34-34. And Phillips said some of the Falcons were not aware the game was over when Plaxico Burress was stopped a yard short of scoring on the final play of OT.

"I started walking on the field," Phillips said, "and a lot of the players were like, 'Coach, what are you doing?' I said, 'The game's over."

The tie didn't end up killing either teams' playoff hopes. The Steelers and Falcons both made it to the post-season.

How does a probowl QB like McNabb not know OT rules???

Somebody needs to buy him a NFL Rulebook for Christmas.

He can read it while watching the playoffs from his couch in January.
