One omission from my practice report was the absence of Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware.
He wasn't there. We'll find out more as it becomes available.

Everyone took part, as the team geared back down into shells and shorts and worked inside its field house with three games left before gameday.
WR Terrell Owens was there, yes. And he had a limp in his step, favoring the left ankle he injured in Carolina. He was rounding out his breaks, rather than changing direction sharp, on most routes. Toward the end, he seemed to be accelerating and cutting better.
But no matter how much we overanalyze all this, the fact remains that Owens will play Sunday. Count on it.

A broken leg ended Jeremy Shockey's season, but Roy Williams still expects to have his hands full covering a Giants tight end.
Kevin Boss, a 6-6, 253-pound rookie fifth-round pick, is "no hand-me-down tight end," Williams said. He expects the Giants to flex out Boss in an attempt to get him in man coverage, as they did with Shockey when he caught 12 passes for 129 yards and a TD against the Cowboys in November.
"That dude Boss is huge, man," Williams said. "He's a big guy. It's going to be kind of interesting covering him."

It's a sad day here at Valley Ranch. The porn 'stache of one Robert Carpenter Jr. is no more.
Blame Tyler Everett, the Cowboys new practice squad safety and Ohio State teammate of Carpenter's. On his first night with the Cowboys, last night, Everett was invited over to Carpenter's house. And in an honest moment, Everett says he said, "Man, you gotta shave that off."
That gave Carpenter's fiance the opening to drive the point home and, eventually, the combination of the two got the linebacker to relent. The death of the moustache occurred last night, and the linebacker was spotted in the locker room without it today. Carpenter quickly fled when he saw the media in there, possibly to avoid the intense scrutiny that was about to bear down on his facial hair.
As Justin Rogers, fellow linebacker and locker room neighbor, said, "It's just too bad."
