Special contributor Bob Sturm answered questions in a chat Thursday. Here are some highlights.
Question: I couldn't believe how open Beasley was on the play toward the end of the game. Do you think Romo would have killed this vaunted Seahawks secondary?
Bob Sturm: I don't think anyone "kills" the Seahawks secondary. That team is so good defensively and I think they only had conceded one TD to a wide receiver this year and that was on a Green Bay free play after an offsides where Rodgers could throw it aggressively down the field. Seattle is great. But, would Romo have tried some of those throws? Absolutely.
Question: Assuming you think the Cowboys still can reach the playoffs ... Does a loss Sunday kill all hope?
Bob Sturm: Pretty much. I do still think they are in it. I can't imagine I can keep that talk going at 2-6. Simply put, at some point they have to beat somebody. This is getting pretty bleak.
