And if we lose to Seattle, that will be a 5 game losing streak. No matter the reason, that's got to be hard to recover from. And not only that, but they will be expected to recover and win the final 2 games without Romo and go on a pretty significant streak to end the season just to salvage it.

That's hoping for a whole hell of a lot. This Seattle game strikes me as extremely important. We have to start turning it around and it needs to start now so that we have just that much more leeway in case things don't fall exactly right from here on out.

Well it would be nice to win this week, but it really doesnt matter, as long as they win 2 of the 3 games.
If they won this week and lost to phil, then win TB what is the difference?

From, a fans view they always want the now win, but it really doesnt matter, it is simple math,. win 9 games, it doesnt matter which ones.

Ideally winning all 3 would be great.

Beating Seattle but then losing to phil and TB not so great.
It is simple win 2 of next 3.

And I agree with you it is a hard road to win 2 in a row, then have Romo go 5-2 or better, but that is the price of losing these past 4 games, and maybe 5 in a row.

The team has had some injurys and bad luck, so now they need to be better than normal to finish 2nd half of season to deserve getting in the playoffs.

Right now they still control their own destiny, except for NYG who they dont play again, and we need them to lose a certain amount of games.
But they will lose to NE and Carolina for sure, and some other games.

Ok another thing is because dallas got themselves in this situation, they need to beat Carolina and Green bay, as statement games, that
They can compete with the best teams in playoffs.
If they cant beat those 2 teams, no point in getting in playoffs anyway.
Romo and dez will be there so they need to plan on winning those games, and if they lose any let it be to one of the other teams.

you cant just assume dallas will beat all those other teams, as we all know any given day,
some low level team plays great and beats the better team.

So If I were JG I would already be saying we now have to beat GB and Panthers, no matter what.
But I know JG and he is one game at a time which is good to a point, but I would be programming the players starting now , that those 2 games
are must win games.

About seattle, They have lost 3 games to cin 6-0,GB 6-0,Carolina 6-0, 3 6-0 teams in 2 they led going into 4th qrt.
Then a week 1 3 point loss to rams.
So they are a very good team that played the toughest part of their schedule early.
They beat SF 20-3 and chicago 26-0, and the lions13-10 so the defense is still pretty good.
Dallas defense has been ok, but held only 1 team the eagles to a below 20 score. 10 points.

So Expecting dallas to beat seattle without romo is asking a lot, Cassel in only his 2nd game in over a year, only been with team
a few weeks!
Dallas will have a tough time against seattle defense, and best bet is to run a lot and hope they can run good.
But they will have to show they can pass too, so there is the problem, maybe that goes well maybe it doesnt.

I dont know how the seattle offense will do, last year they struggled and no hardy, so that is hard to predict.

But they are good at getting enough points to win.

And Dallas could win this game, it is just odds are against them at this point..

i think if they lose this weekend to seahawks its season over. I think its already over but if they could win this weekend maybe it goes the other way I don't think when tony comes back they only lose one game if they don't win soon I see this as a 6 and 10 or 7 and 9 team when uwatch them play you can see they are just not very good yet do to many things that losing teams do

It's still too early.

There's no rush to throw dirt on the season. But 2 or 3 games out with 10 to play is not the end of anything. They do have to play better than they have been, though, and at more than the QB position. If Teams don't get better and the takeaway drought doesn't clear up, it won't matter if Romo's back or not.

Exactly...................and lets not act like there are not other problems with this team besides Romo and Dez not being here. Our special teams unit is one, if not the worst in the entire NFL. That has nothing to do with Romo and Dez not playing. Our defense is last in the entire league in takeaways, that again has nothing to do with Romo and Dez not playing.

Like you said my friend, there are other areas of the team that have to start playing better or it doesn't matter if Romo and Dez are back. If we remain dead last in the entire NFL in both takeaways and turnover differential, then we will be picking in the top 10 next year, regardless of who is at QB.

I just don't see improvement from them with the way they are playing I still think this is a 6 or 7 win team at best. to many break downs at different positions wont be long before the players are making business decisions.
