they're still at the very worst a top-10 line in this league and maybe better than that. So the backs have not run as well. They've certainly not played as well as I thought they would play. And now you take (Lance) Dunbar out of the mix, that doesn't help either. But I do think...saying the offensive line is overrated is a bit of an overreaction."

When a line is called among the greatest of all time and compared to the Cowboy lines of the 1990s, isn't a "at very worst a top 10 line" fit the very definition of overrated?

Nobody was calling this line a "top 10" line at the start of the year. It was always "the best" or considered at the very top.

Good point. Once the hype machine got rolling in Big D, the OL's reputation just kept getting bigger and bigger. When even your heady, well-grounded center tries to make it clear that they've got a way to go yet, apparently not many listened. Perhaps they're starting to listen now.

I guarantee you if we had a passer that could throw down field and force teams to get that 8th man out of the box the OL would look great again.
