After watching tape on the Steelers I would say we are in for a monster football game. I have not watched their game from Sunday yet but I saw the score. Anybody care to give me some perspective before I watch their last game? I'll be watching tape on them for a bit today, just wanted some insight.

What is going to happen to Buress? Do you think he will get much wiggle room? Stats show that carrying a gun or having a gun in the home, your likely to injure yourself or a loved one before you use it to protect yourself.

IMHO, I think it is a very winnable game for the Cowboys. Yes, the Steelers have a good defense but their offense is suspect. If the Cowboys pressure and sack Big Ben THE COWBOYS WILL WIN!


AS FOR PLAX..... HE IS DONE! HE IS OWES 1 MILLION THIS MONTH FOR A ROSTER BONUS. EXPECT HIM TO BE ON A NON-FOOTBALL INJURY LIST AND THAT WILL END IS YEAR AND CAREER IN NY!

As a lawful gun owner, I can also vouch for the fact that guns don't just jump up on their own and start shooting people. I know your post was more about Plaxico, but this incident should not morph into a knock on lawfully owned or carried guns. Please don't take offense to my reply, WG, as I always enjoy your posts, but nothing Plaxico did should be used to attack legal gun possession, or ownership.

Ohhhh. Ok. I got it now. I'm a little slow today. WG, I appologize for the confusion. Kevin Burnett, my comments should have been directed toward you. Ha ha.

Well I've carried a weapon in the service, as a policeman, and as a civilian with an authorized permit. But Kevin is right and I don't think he was attacking gun ownership. I could be wrong.

If you carry you must be very, very careful. And if you have guns in the home then they need to be where they cannot be accessed by children or used unlawfully. That's my take home message and I agree with it wholeheartedly. But I'm not going to say more as this is such a volatile subject.
