The for the day was simple, FINISH. Finsh every drill, finish every play, finish every thing you do. We sat at home aand watched the playoff's because we simply did not finish what we started. We didnt make the move from Good to Great. The challenge now is for us to make that move from a good team to a GREAT TEAM.

How did we do?

Today was more of a get back in the swing of playing football practice. No pads, all concentration. Mental focus and doiiung thing right ll the time.
Play of the day

Danny aka Wes Welker II made a diving catch and WWWWWWWWOOOOWWWWWW the crowd.

I'm going to enjoy Burnett's perspective along with all the other bloggers out there. It's nice to see a player's view of camp.

This Amendola kid is going to make the team and I have a feeling he's going to be very reliable. T.O. and Crayton on one side, with Amendola as our Wes Welker and Miles Austin as our speedy deep threat. Can you imagine our 5 WR set with Owens, Crayton, Witten, Austin and Amendola?

This is going to be a very entertaining read during training camp. We should be able to get a players view on things instead of a reporters spin.

No I can't believe we'd use a 5 WR set cause that means Romo's left w/o any protection should his OL be unable to protect him. Would be a good way to get Romo killed.

Yeah because we don't have one of the best offensive lines in football or anything...

In that kind of set they would most likely have a rb motion out to wr.(Felix Jones)

I didn't know we had a five WR set except for Hail Mary's.

Just kidding but I don't remember seeing one. Witten's in there, too. Hard to keep him in to block but they do.

On non-passing downs.

I enjoy reading Burnett's blog. They are always good. Like it has been stated before, I enjoy getting the player's perspective.

What perspective did he provide here?

I think we all read elsewhere that Amendola had a highlight play.

The team's motto is FINISH?

Never heard that before.

When Parcells and Sparano was running the offense, I remember Barber and sometimes Julius motioning out of the backfield to become the 5th WR (watch Jaguars 06' opener, Julius catches a deep ball out of the set). I think it would be cool to have T.O. or Felix Jones in Barber's RB spot like that, and have them motion out wide so they would get a free release.

Oh I believe you. Still not the same as a true five WR set. It's just not a common thing for the Boys. Or even an uncommon one. But I wouldn't be surprised to see it as other teams are running it. Not sure about Phillips or even Red using it but I wouldn't be surprised.
