It may have been said before but from here on out this is a one game season. Why? Losing one game can put you out of the playoffs so really losing can't be an option. With the NFC as tight as it is, there is no room for error on the Cowboys part. I honestly believe there will be a 10 win NFC team at home come playoff time. The old saying goes control what you can and the rest will take care of itself. Well we better grab it by the throat quickly or we'll be the biggest disappointment of all time.
NCAA
A few of you have asked how I feel about my college head coach leaving the university or being fired if you will. I feel for coach Fulmer because he is a great football mind who has been at the university for a long time. He sat in my living from and we talked about longevity and how it would be a very long time before he left the university. Who knew it would be so soon? I feel even worse for his assistant coaches, coach Chavis, coach Slade, coach Brooks, coach Caldwell all of which sat in my living room and talked my mother into letting me move across country. I have some great college football memories and I am really grateful that I got the chance to play for one of the best head coaches in college football.
