Kevin Burnett E-mail News tips

Here are a couple of things I do before we play at home on a Sunday.

Rule one: Don't eat too much. If I play or try to work out on a full stomach I'll puke. So I eat a little more than half of what I would eat for a regular meal. By the way all this depends on the time of the game, so let's say we're talking about a 3:30pm kickoff. The meal I would be referring to is our pregame meal which takes place about 5 hours before kickoff.

After I eat, I run back up to my room in the hotel and grab my belongings and head home to see my wife and two boys. I bring my wife home a omelet with egg whites, sausage and a waffle but she usually doesn't get to eat it. It's mainly because me and the boys eat it all before she has a chance to get to it. (Sorry Babe) After eating I jump into my hyperbaric chamber get a few more zzzz and or watch my special teams DVD from them week. Since VHS tapes are out dated we are given study disk/DVDs to watch during the week as a reference.

Part 2 at 3pm

Dude. It's THEIR, not THERE.

For God's sake... just because you play football, doesn't mean you can't learn any sense of grammatical correctness.

PLEASE!

ARGH!

So Burnett has one of those hyberbaric chambers just like TO & Thomas. Wonder how many other players on the team have them. I think I read that individual chambers like these guys have run around $15,000-$25,000.

Long time practice in the NFL.

In his part two blog, Kevin describes how he drives from his house. So they stay at the hotel on Saturday night during home games?

Most players do. Required by the team so they know where they are.

Yes. Supposed to keep them out of trouble the night before the game. They've got curfews and everything.
