Sup people? I first want to say I THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND WELL WISHES. That really means a lot to my family and me. The surgery went well and I can expect a full recovery in a few weeks. Right now I'm in the bed with Little Kevin under my arm watching me type.
I not going to lie right now I feel like I had surgery yesterday (Loopy and in pain) and I have a nervous twitch about tonight's game, I get really anxious about games that I can't be apart because it's nothing I can do to affect the out come.
When I'm at the game the only time I really get nervous is when our offense takes the field. WHY? Coach Paul Pasqu had a saying "dont put your Mortgage in another mans hands, YOU GO TAKE IT ". When the offense is on the field that's one of the only parts of the game I have nothing to do with.
So I want to watch the first few plays so I know from a defensive stand point I know what kind of day it is going to be. Is the offense going to go 3 and out are they going to run the ball down their throat or will we get pass happy and go 7-for 7 down the field. I really want to see how we respond after not playing like the Cowboys last week.
3 Keys to beating anyone in football
1. No turnovers
2. No penalties
3. Good SP Teams play
My surgery was not very serious so my rehab should not be very long. I'm moving around but I'm taken things slow. I want to be a permanent fixture on our defense once I get back.
MY ENTIRE FAMILY AND I want to extent a very sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has sent their positive messages we really appreciate it, and can't say THANK YOU enough. This has been a very trying time and very tough on us all. Again I 'm in very HIGH SPIRITS (negative feelings slow down healing time) in my journey to return to the field, I shouldn't be gone long.
