I wonder if a couple of the Henson bashers who saw the end of the line will step up and eat some crow or not? I bet not. But they know who they are.

Thankfully one of them (who shall remain nameless) has been blissfully absent for over a week.

Drew Henson started the war in Iraq.

not even ole nameless should be left out... therefore I through a most giving and caring nature will give him one... we will start out with some good four letter names and move onward and upward ;)

Henson was never going anywhere. He's vital to the wind sprint portion of BP's workout routine. ;)

Some quotes to laugh at

On Mroz beating henson out for #3 "a no Brainer" link

"this kid Mroz could make some serious noise this summer" link

"Jeff Mroz is quietly impressing the coaching staff this offseason" and "there's rumblings around scouting circles that Mroz might be the next #11" link

"finding the ivy league sensation Jeff Mroz it's just a matter of time before Henson is sent packing from his 2nd professional sports league." link

"The Answer has scouted Mroz and see's a lot of similarities to Drew Bledsoe, and these have been duly noted by Chris Palmer. If Mroz comes to play....than Henson might be on the waiver wire sooner than later...." link

"Perhaps Mroz has already made a strong enough impression with Parcells and the front office that Henson is now expendable and truly 'on the bubble' as reported earlier on the NFL network" link

I expect this will make it harder for Mroz to beat out Henson
:)

It certainly turned out to be wrong, but it wasn't crazy to think that Mroz might have made some noise. He's got the right size, one of the Cowboys coaches (Palmer?) worked closely with Mroz, and the Cowboys signed him. Apparently the Cowboys thought he was worth a shot.

In hindsight, the shot turned out to be a blank. But nothing ventured, nothing gained....

Not so strange to some, but there are others who haven't got the foggiest clue what it means.

Abersonc believes this is a ploy to generate interest in Henson. By making it SEEM that Henson has beaten out a quality NFL prospect like Mroz, teams will begin to think Henson is worth something.

Abersonc thinks that by cutting Mroz now, it ensures that other teams will have no interest in him. So when we get rid of Henson, Mroz will be available to claim the role he so clearly earned, 3rd string QB.

That must be why Parcells pretty much stopped playing Mroz during training camp. The publicity was getting to be too much, and Parcells wanted to keep Mroz's incredible talents a secret.

dargonking999 finds mimic the Answer who was wrong in every point about Mroz very funny, and likes to follow the "new fashion" of cowboys zone

Now that's a conspiracy theory. You make me wish even more that Jeb was in the final 5. I'd enjoy those takes. :wink2:
