Cowboys radio: Happy trails, I'm guessing they'll be moving on again

I've been doing a lot of yakking over the last week with local radio types about the future of Cowboys radio broadcasts. Negotiations are underway. I'm more than guessing that the Cowboys will be headed back to the CBS Radio empire beginning next season. Their games will be anchored at 105.3 The Fan, also known as KRLD-FM.
Several reasons: The Ticket, the Cowboys home for the last three seasons, doesn't really need the team. It has solid, ratings-winning programming. Plus, folks tell me the Cowboys take most of the ad revenue their game day programming generates. The Ticket could make more money with Cowboys-related shows if it didn't have to share with a team that would be on another station.
I have been assured that ESPN 103.3 currently is not in the mix. That leaves The Fan, which has a blow torch of a signal. That's something The Ticket and The Bone do not have, especially at night. The Fan is hungry for programming and a relationship with a pro team and is backed by CBS bucks. Recall that pre-Ticket, the Cowboys were on CBS-owned FM stations KLUV and KVIL.
And what if on most game days, KRLD broadcast the Cowboys on 105.3 FM and 1080 AM? There wouldn't be a fan in Dallas-Fort Worth who would have any problem picking up those signals.
