Scan's a good dude. Hope he comes back stronger than ever.

He's been one of my favorites since the day he was drafted.

Does anyone know why the following would be true:

Scandrick said because he’s on the injured reserve list he can’t take part in meetings at Valley Ranch

What the heck, why not? What does it hurt?

Yeah, that's the first I've heard that he can't take part. I thought I read that Lee took part in team activities last year while on IR.

Maybe someone can clarify
I know you can't practice but not so sure you can't attend meetings
You can certainly be on the sideline during games

Me too, hope he's mistaken, I believe he'd be a real asset to the team, especially Patmon

Teams used to use IR as a place to stash players, so now they don't let them benefit from being in meetings while they're inactive.

Do you recall Bill Bates had to sit out a good deal of time when Dallas won in 1992? He made it back and was on and played for the Super Bowl team of 1993.

Now I am not making any suggestions about fate, or kismet, of similarities from the past.

But Bates...Scandrick...

Cue the X Files title track.

I agree WD (may I call you WG?). Like I stated in another thread, I feel worse for OScan (first and foremost) than I do for the team. I suppose I would say that about any player that's passionate about the game.

P.S. You may call me Popp1234, if you like. I personally would like that. Nothing like being on a first-name basis.

Damn just watched the luncheon, that was real. Loved every word that came out of Scandrick's mouth.

I especially liked the part where he said he loved having a coach that was so detailed and structured.

Jason Garrett is the best thing to happen to this franchise in a long time.
