IRVING — Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford said he moved around well in practice Wednesday, his first day back after suffering a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee Nov. 2 against Arizona.

Crawford, who didn’t play in the Cowboys’ game against Jacksonville before their bye week, said he’s ready to go for Sunday against the Giants.

“I’m just going now. Full go,” Crawford said. “There’s no looking back. I feel really good.”

Crawford said he’s playing with a lot of confidence.

“If you go to into a game not confident, it’s going to show,” Crawford said. “It’s kind of like if you look in their eyes and you can see fear, if the other players can see it, I can see it. I definitely don’t want to show that in a game.”

I think he's a good complement to Melton. He might never put up the sack numbers, but he's disruptive enough that he can keep Melton fresh without the defense really stepping down much. That allows Melton to be more effective the snaps that he's in the game.

In fact, there's not really a major difference right now between the second group in the rotation and the first group up and down the line ... and that would be a good thing if the rest of them were as good as Melton and Crawford. Instead, we're relying on the relentless wave effect to help us hold our ground while some players prove if they can be more and others aren't on the roster yet.

Tyrone is going to be a solid player for the Cowboys for a long time. A real building block for our defense.

I hate to do it, but in year 2 of my Madden franchise I signed him to a 4 year, 18 mil deal.

Might be a reasonable re-sign after next season, and is the RKG. Doesn't jump off the charts at you, but has the tools to get it done.
