Until I see some actual quotes from Murray, I'm not buying any thing the mediots are throwing out there. "According to a report by Mike Florio" doesn't inspire me.

January 2015:
DeMarco Murray said:
Obviously I love playing with these guys, love playing for Jerry, love playing for Jason [Garrett]. He’s a helluva coach, a helluva guy. The things I’ve learned from him and Jason Witten in the four years I’ve been here, I’m very gracious and appreciative of it. If the chips fall that way, I’m excited and would love to come back. I don’t know what’s going to happen, so we’ll see.
March 2015:
Stephen Jones said:
We really feel like we have a great relationship with DeMarco and his agent Bill Johnson. Certainly no guarantees, no promises that he's going to bring offers back to us but at the end of the day, I do think he wants to stay in Dallas. I know he knows we want him here. Hopefully we'll have good communication as we move forward.”

March 2016:
Howie Roseman said:
“My last conversation with him was just that, that he wants to be here and this is the place he wants to have a tremendous amount of success like he had in Dallas. I think sometimes we forget a year ago at this time he’s coming off the NFL offensive player of the year. I mean that’s a tremendous honor, tremendous accomplishment to be able to do that and we’re not talking about five, six years ago. We’re talking about one year ago.”

Want to know where Murray truly wants to be? Wait a few months.

I could be wrong here, but I think Murray wants to be where the most $$$$$$ are. Im going with that until proven otherwise.

Never expected him to want out.

I certainly believe he regrets the situation he is in and the franchise he is apart of. He has no ties to Philly, he is building a house in Dallas right now. He doesn't have many friends on that team either reportedly.

Sure he may regret it but I am sure if he had to do it all over again, he would do it the same way. The difference between what we were offering and Philly is just too much.

Rapoport isn't always the most reliable source but he has been stubborn about this Murray story and won't let it die. It makes you think that he is putting his credentials on it.

If I am Murray and I am consistently hearing trade rumors then I am not sure how comfortable I would feel with the new regime either.

Interesting Murray/Murray combo. Truthfully, I don't understand why they would want him but I hope it does happen. I wouldn't mind rooting for Murray the player again and I can't help but wish him the worst in Philly.

Gonna laugh if the Titans only gave up a 4th round pick to the Eagles for him.

not sure who got the better of that one. it cost the eagles nothing to sign our FA and while they didn't get much out of him, they picked up a 4th rounder at least. kinda expensive 4th rounder but they got more out of murray than we did.

DeMarco Murray may not want out of Philadelphia after all.
According to a report by Mike Florio of NBC Sports, Philadelphia Executive Vice President of Football Operations Howie Roseman said Murray wants to remain an eagle.

In Florios's article, Roseman said "My last conversation with him was just that. He wants to be here and this is the place he wants to have a tremendous amount of success like he had in Dallas."

After leading the NFL in rushing yards with the Cowboys in 2014, Murray's numbers dipped significantly with Philadelphia in 2015 -  dropping from 1,845 yards to 702 yards.

The Eagles finished last season 7-9 and fired Chip Kelly in Week 17.
