I'm pretty sure that Goose combined Mincey and Hardy and came up with Harvey. Hardy isn't spelling anything. Grammar smack and gibberish. I like it.

I believe he was trying to say Gregory, and somehow combined Hardy and Gregory's names into a sort of amalgamation which turned into Harvey. The fact that he doesn't check his own work says a lot about the state of sports journalism. Overall the entire piece was tripe though.
