I think this is a terrible quote used in any context. How much is really wrong with the NFL now? I don't think much at all.

I think it's simply a classless thing to say, grouping an entire organization with what's wrong with something, especially for someone like Jerry. Harbaugh should have apologized.

If the goal is to be moderately successful then the Eagles approach is probably the correct one. If, otoh, you aspire to more than that, then it's clear Philly's approach does not work.
