DMN: Holland to start Monday night

Cowboys LG Kyle Kosier (Achilles) will not play Monday night, but he said he'll be back in the lineup for Week 8.

Kosier was injured against the Vikings last week and the initial timetable was for him to miss 2-3 weeks, but it sounds like he'll beat that. Montrae Holland will fill in for Kosier in the starting lineup.

Looks like Kosier has a high ankle sprain in addition to the achilles injury..

Might as well get use to Holland for awhile.

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips tried to make it sound like guard Kyle Kosier had a chance to play on Monday night football during the week, but Dallas ruled him out Saturday after a third straight missed practice.



Kosier revealed he has a high ankle sprain in addition to an Achilles injury, according to ESPNDallas.com. He's hopeful to play next week. Montrae Holland will start in Kosier's place. (Justin Tuck is smiling somewhere.)

no you missed it. Jerry doesn't care if Davis starts. He didn't invest as much in him as he did with Roy Williams and it won't be a big story Davis doesn't start or is replaced.
