Jason Garrett isn't even being mentioned anymore in stories about the Broncos' coaching search.

If the Broncos goes with a bright, young offensive mind, it appears that the job will go to 32-year-old Patriots coordinator Josh McDaniels. According to the NFL Network's Adam Schefter and the Rocky Mountain News' Jeff Legwold, McDaniels became the first candidate to interview a second time with the Denver brass.

Schefter and Legwold agree that Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier and Buccaneers defensive coordinator Raheem Morris are still in the running. Legwold reports that Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnoulo is also being strongly considered, but the Broncos can't talk to him again until the weekend before the Super Bowl if New York wins today.

There is no indication that the Lions have made any progress trimming their long list of candidates, which includes Garrett.

Maybe his performance this year hurt him more than he thought. Obviously he wants a head coaching job and isn't waiting for Dalllas. I really don't k ow what to think about him.

That and the fact he declined two coaches job, probably also hurt him. But if makes the offense pretty good next year, he will be hot candidate again.

Really? Is Todd Haley a hot head coaching candidate? Cam Cameron? Hell, even Rex Ryan isnt even getting as many looks as the ginger one.

Doesnt surprise me. He is going to be back in Dallas and the stupidy of Jerry Jones will erupt by giving him a raise to stay here.

Why don't you stick to your Hate Garrett/TO etc. postings, that makes more sense.

Cam Cameron was absolute failure as HC. Todd Haley's success has come this year only (apart from, TO/Crayton dumping on him when he left Dallas). Jim Johnson and Monty Kiffin have been hot Co-ordinators for long time.

Spanuolo, for him being Hot candidate, word is, he isn't an impressive Interview. Maybe its not about just being a good Co-ordinator to be a HC. YOu got to communicate and project to the Owners/GM that you can be a good HC. Apparently art of interview and selling yourself is something foriegn to you.

I guess Atlanta/Ravens don't know how to pick candidates, as they offered him the job previously . Yeah, I know, they are thanking their stars now for not getting him ....

Why don't you quit before you are ahead? LIke I said just stick to your hate Garrett or TO threads.

SO why is Garrett interviewing this year, if he shouldn't after he had bad year Co-ordinating? Or the fact that John FOx got his job after his D not doing well with Giants? Or Payton got his job, after not so hot year, especially lots of Cowboys fans rejoiced when he left?

Some are so disappointed that their wish for revenge on all involved overwhelms their common sense.

They really don't care who goes, as long as most involved go.

They'll get over it eventually.

Much to Chagrin of the Garrett haters/blamers....

They'll all have egg on their face if he stays and the offense turns around.

Get rid of team cancers, get healthy, come back focused, dedicate yourself to being a running team and we'll be fine.

:hammer:

But I am pessimistic about team cancers being gone. And I am not talking about just TO. But that would be a begining.
