Has he answered a question regarding Burnett/Carp?

From e-mail: Wade Phillips is willing to sacrifice size for speed, athleticism and pass rush. That said, do Carpenter and/or Burnett have a legitimate chance at earning a starting role this year? Tim
Jean-Jacques Taylor: Nope. I don't see how Bobby Carpenter could beat out Akin Ayodele or how Kevin Burnett could beat out Bradie James. That said, they could play well enough to easily create roles for themselves on the team and I think that's what will happen.

I couldn't take any more.

you left to soon

Hostile: Will Greg Ellis continue to plead for more money or a trade? Or will he learn from the backlash and keep quiet?

Jean-Jacques Taylor: Does anyone really care. I really like Ellis, but I'm sick of talking about his contract situation

Sorry you feel that way. Considering other chats he's held, this one has been pretty much been dominated by 'boys questions with only a few non-'boys sneaking through. I thought this one was a good one.

Sweet. That might be my question (though, I suspect a ton of people probably have similar questions to mine)...
The transcript will be up shortly.

I could snag them as he goes, but I like to wait until they do the heavy lifting as far as formatting to make my copy/pasting easier.

My eyelids were playing Taps it was moving so slow. Then for 2 or 3 straight questions...no football.

I snapped.

One thing to remember, is that the chat is moderated. So whoever the moderator is, is who's selecting the questions. I guess it depends on what kind of questions have already been asked and answered and if they're trying to provide a variety to the various readers who will read the transcript later.

Just my thoughts...

That's likely the case - it seemed like there was a run on questions not related to the Cowboys for awhile, and that probably was intentional. Unfortunately, of the 3 questions I asked they chose the one I was least interested in getting a response to.

But I thought I read were Burnett is/was filling in for Ayodele until he returns at the beginning of training camp.

I noticed that too - it stuck out with me after a long debate over whether Carpenter or Burnett could play positions other than those they were slated to back-up, and I was told that Burnett was ONLY able to play Ayodele's position and Carp was ONLY able to play James' position ......... as you might imagine I don't believe that, but still, those were supposed to be the positional matchups.
