Also confirms Romo did/does still have back problems they're keeping an eye it out for. This aspect was largely dismissed as the more recent injuries to his collarbone took precedent, etc. That is still my biggest worry over the clavicle. That's what ended Aikman's career (back) not the general concussion revisionist history about his release.

We were last in deep passing attempts (no PA used) during our 12-4 run and the passing O was orchestrated to protect Romo from needing to "gun it" every week and was the smart move bc we led the league in deep passing efficiency but again w/the smallest sample size in the league, etc. Sounds like that won't be a huge problem if he is throwing already but will be interesting to see what they orchestrate for the passing offense going forward.

This caught up to the team in the playoffs when better Defenses started forcing us to change our game plan (DET and GB). We put it off to the Dez catch but we could have controlled that game w/some changes to our passing scheme but were too late to do so.

All I can say is Moore and Prescott keep your helmets close to you game time.

I love dez. For a guy who the media and critics always have their pitchforks on standby for, his passion for the game of football is second to none. I believe his eagerness to be great and his love for football keeps him in check from making those mistakes that bored nfl players make.

I think dez is way out of shape, and far from what he was in 2014.
It is going to take time to get back to 2014 level.
He is only going to have 3 months at most, which isnt really enough time, and it depends on
if he is limited or not.
I also wonder if his foot will be good enough or healed enough to play full games.
I think smart thing would be to play him part time thru first half of season.

But I expect jones boys and dez to want him to play every play almost, so maybe his foot can take it maybe not.
I think he may tire out by halftime if he isnt in great shape.

How do you know what shape he's in?

lol, I said "think" not "know"
I am pretty sure he couldnt run or work out after and before 1st and 2nd operations, and It is possible
he didnt do much during contract dispute, and then didnt play much last year, so there is no way he could
be in shape now.
It will take time to get back to the shape he was in 2014.
I dont think 2-3 months is enough time. and season starts in little over 3 months.
And then it depends on how "in shape" is defined.
