Really the only big mistake Mo made was the dropped pick. His coverage has been solid, but he has to start making those plays when they're there. We need those turnovers especially with so many injuries on the defensive front.

If Mo can keep up his pace I see him being retained. Carr is older and even if he might not be playing as bad as early last year, I still see #39 in the vicinity of catches and broken tackles far too often.

This echoes what Broaddus said about Clai this game. Really too bad he didn't get that pick at the goal line. Clair has played pretty well so far this season, which has been important with Oscan out.

If we could generate a consistent pass rush, we would have a much better secondary. Letting Matt Ryan stand in the pocket picking us apart is not a recipe for success.

I think Sturm pointed it out on twitter how Julio hip-checked Mo, which probably caused the drop.

Mo still could've and should've caught that.

Still Atlanta did the smart thing. Moving Julio around and going up against inferior players like Carr and Patmon.

Meh, Mo's a featherweight. A stiff breeze would knock his concentration off. But he's a DB for a reason. No hands.

Haven't seen the real tape, but during the broadcast I remember Mo only getting beat badly on that pivot route in the 4th. I thought he did a damn good job on Julio for the most part. Apparently the Falcons did too because they started moving him around more to target Patmon and Carr. Patmon did an awful job on the long TD. Played outside leverage and let Julio run free off the line. Thats as easy a completion as a WR will get.

Man Julio dogged that route. We should have pressed him more when we had the chance but in the slot and stacked you just have to cover. That's where we really missed Scandrick

Still hit him right in the hands though. It would have been a tough catch no doubt, but a confidence booster for a player who as struggled up to this point in his career. I'd like to see him continue to play at least above-average this year and see if we can't sign him to a reasonable contract.

Patmon was supposed to have help from both Safeties but both guys blew the coverage. Not sure where i read it, either from Broaddus or one of the coaches, not sure.

After watching the game again, he was the best CB by a good margin

IRVING -- Of the three cornerbacks that covered the star receiver, the Cowboys felt Morris Claiborne did the best job.

"You just got to keep him in check," Claiborne said after the game. "You just got to know where he is on the field at all times. They did a lot of moving him in the backfield, running him around. On top of that, they got guys moving around on the inside, picking for him so he can get open. We just got to do a better job of knowing where the big time players are.

"They found ways to get him open, and we paid for it."

Jones was targeted 20 times Sunday. Claiborne was in coverage on him for eight of those, most of any Cowboys defender. Jones hauled in four for 41 yards.

If Mo can see the picks then why can't the refs , or is it legal to do this within a certain distance from the line of scrimmage. Thought I saw/read that somewhere to account for how Denver does this.

Yep. Just more evidence that our safeties suck in coverage
