No team has been more active during the off-season than the Philadelphia Eagles. And no player on Chip Kelly’s roster seems untouchable.

Philadelphia’s leading rusher and leading receiver are now on different teams. Same goes for the Eagles’ starting quarterback who made the Pro Bowl in 2013.

Their busy off-season began with 30-year-old Ed Marynowitz being named vice president of player personnel. When the free agency dust settled, three-time Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy was in Buffalo and the NFL’s leading rusher and former Cowboy DeMarco Murray was in Philly.

The drastic changes have left a lot of experts scratching their heads. Former Eagles QB and current NFL analyst Ron Jaworski recently discussed why he doesn’t think the changes have made Philadelphia a better team.

Click here to see the off-season moves made by the Washington Commanders and the New York Giants.

Here is a breakdown of the Eagles’ moves so far.

Key additions:

Brad Jones, LB. Started 23 games over the last three seasons for the Green Bay Packers.

Sam Bradford, QB. The first overall pick of the 2010 draft has missed 25 games over the last two seasons because of left knee injuries.

Walter Thurmond, CB. Key contributor to 2013 Seahawks Super Bowl team, Thurmond missed the majority of the 2014 season with a torn pectoral muscle.

Byron Maxwell, CB. The former Seahawk signed a six-year deal that included $25 million guaranteed.

DeMarco Murray, RB. After rushing for a Cowboys single-season record 1,845 yards, Murray signed a five-year, $42 million deal with the rival Eagles.

Miles Austin, WR. Four years removed from his back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons in Dallas, Austin signed a one-year deal with Philly in late March.

Ryan Mathews, RB. The former first-round pick had a pair of 1,000-yard seasons during his previous five seasons in San Diego.

Kiko Alonso, LB. The 2013 PFWA Defensive Rookie of the Year was traded to the Eagles in exchange for LeSean McCoy.

E.J. Biggers, CB. Played in 15 games last season for Washington, recording 32 tackles and four pass deflections.

Key losses:

Nick Foles, QB. Traded to St. Louis in exchange for Sam Bradford. Foles threw 27 touchdown passes to only two interceptions in 2013.

LeSean McCoy, RB. Rushed for nearly 3,000 yards and scored 16 touchdowns over the last two seasons.

Jeremy Maclin, WR. Coming off his best season — 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns — Maclin signed a five-year, $55 million deal with Kansas City.

Todd Herremans, OL. Signed with Colts after 10 seasons with the Eagles.

Trent Cole, OLB. Signed with Colts after 85.5 sacks and 10 seasons in Philly.

Cary Williams, CB. Started every game the last two seasons for the Eagles.

Bradley Fletcher, CB. Started 27 games the last two seasons for the Eagles.

Nate Allen, S. A starter the last five seasons for the Eagles, Allen had 62 tackles and four interceptions last season.

Casey Matthews, LB. Started 11 games last season for the Eagles.

Draft needs:

After finishing 10-6 for the second consecutive season, Philadelphia has the 20th overall pick later this month. Biggest needs: Cornerback, wide receiver, safety.

Popular first-round projections: Landon Collins, S, Alabama; Best available cornerback.

Lotta turnover there. Wonder what kind of team they will have. Is Chip turning the page on the fast paced offense to a more traditional one. I predict they will compete with us for the DIv title.

Chip wants Chip guys. Megalomaniac purged the roster just so he could play GM and rebuild it.

Truth is, I think this guy wants back in college football, and he knows there's a Saban-like contract waiting for him when the time comes.

He can just walk away from Philly and wash his hands of it.

I love it.

Eh, I see it as a guy who has a vision and knows what he wants, and isn't afraid of the risk. He could play it safe and try to get a 10-6 or better with what he has, or trust what he sees and try to improve. I have no problem with that.

It may not work out, but it sure is a cool experiment.

Chip Kelly is either a mad genius or just plain old mad, time will tell. I personally dont think what hes doing is going to pay off with a ring, but I've been known to be wrong before. I join em in scratching my head, but I aint an eagirls fan so I dont care if it falls apart. Would rather enjoy that. But like the old saying goes, " You will never hit a home run if you dont swing at the ball". Chips Swinging for the fences. I will say he better get Merriotta or a like minded mobil QB or this thing could hit a snag real fast. I would say good luck to him, but i would be lieing if I said that. Will sit back and just watch what happens. Got my popcorn ready for the show.

I never understood why he was labeled a genius to begin with. What exactly has he accomplished to warrant the title?

And these moves have been so silly and insane that I think it may actually work out for them lol. Not to his credit but more so to the credit of how crazy the NFL is. I just can't understand why you would rely and build your team around players who are injury prone lol. I think Demarco is probably the healthiest of all those guys and that says a lot being before last season he was known as being injury prone lol.

The NFC East should be entertaining to say the least. I don't know what to expect from ANY team right now.

At end of the day and end of the season it all comes down to QB play. Bradford is unproven and often injured. Romo is proven but older. I take Romo over Bradford every day and especially on Sundays.

I agree QB is most essential and Romo is better. But it's still a team. Romo can't do it all no matter how could he is. In the end if Philly is a more balanced and well playing team than we are AND Bradford plays well enough then we are in a dogfight.

He's not afraid because he has a $50 million college trap door to abandon ship any time he wants.

The Eagles don't have such a door.

I hate to make the comparison, but the Cowboys have had a head coach who came in after fantastic success in college, took a very strong approach to remaking the roster with staff he believed in, and had great success. And for that guy the cushion of a college job probably helped too...but it didn't prevent his success and enjoying the rewards of the changes he made.

Look it can go either way for Kelly, and i as much as anyone hope nothing but failure and angst for the city of brotherly love. But I have to respect a guy who is committed to winning more than anything and isn't afraid to make moves to do so just because he may get called out on it later.

Some of the moves made sense. Head Coaches have to have their type of players from a mental makeup perspective. McCoy was not that guy for Kelly and wanted more money. Paying Murray was odd but Murray will stand on his head in a bucket of poo if Kelley wants him to as long as he's getting paid what he wanted.

Getting Bradford seems odd. If he was really offered a 1st for him he should have taken it.

I don't think they are, both Bradford and Murray played for a hurry up style offense at OU

Probably right. I was thinking of him playing some of each depending on circumstance. I'm not even sure that is possible but it should be.

I think it is a mistake on his part. I think Hurry Up as a change of pace when you feel you need to change things up within a game is smart but I think running hurry up through out the game as well as the entire season can wear on a team especially defensive players.
