Big Bill sees a world of promise in Prescott, just as we all do but he also has great respect and admiration for Romo. Nobody knows exactly what lies ahead for both of them and Parcells is likely no exception. It really promises to be a thrilling and intriguing journey in finding out, however.

I'm just happy for the 'Romo must go' crowd. The way they had to suffer through all of those wins in 2014 and then see the team completely implode without Romo in 2015 - that almost made it seem like the guy is pretty important and has made the team look better than it was in recent years. But they are troopers and they weathered the storms of both our team's success and failure. Now they can chirp, and I say they've earned it.

On a completely unrelated note, is there a cap on how many people can go on the ignore list?

You need them so you can properly cull the herd when needed. Most of them can't tie their shoes.

Dak looks great esp for a rookie. Now we get to see how he performs under the gun. Wonder what the over/under is for blitzes esp NY. Really wonder if they start Morris at RB to help the pass rush.

He's got nice things to say about both of them. Maybe he just gets it, period. We've got a good starter in Tony and a chance to have a good young starter behind him in Dak.

Nice things to say? You can't be serious. I didn't see Bill mention Tony's family or personal life a SINGLE time. Clearly he doesn't care about the guy. Pretty heartless stuff.

And I've seen PLENTY of Romo supporters on this very forum voice concern for Tony's well being and personal life, urging him to hang it up for fear of irreparable damage from a future injury. Those fans care. They want Tony's kids to have a father to play with.

Parcells clearly hasn't gotten the memo that Romo is done and the Dakota era is here...
I haven't gotten that memo either. I'm excited as all get out about Dak and glad we drafted him but Romo is my guy. I will always want Romo in the game if he can medically play without hurting himself long term. Since he hasn't said that he will be retiring and there's no risk to his long term health than I want Romo in for every game, every play, every snap possible.

That's my take on it as well. Not sure how this could be such a divisive subject already. Baffles me, although it shouldn't. Most of the move on from Romo crowd have always been anti-Romo anyway.

Hope Romo comes back and can stay healthy but also hope Dakota shows he belongs as a QB in the League plus the potential to be a franchise guy.
I think most fans want to win regardless who the players are. Romo initially provided us a spark and our best shot but trends are important .

As the injuries mount on an aging QB without more team success missing the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years fans are becoming less patient and their hunger grows. They see someone who is a potential heir apparent . I find it a natural course to want to get behind a new hope.

Parcells also suggested that it could be more difficult for Romo to return.

Bill always is supportive while providing a suttle out .

If you recall initially he said we'd have to live and die with Romo's sandlot play.

And on Jerry said you had to convince him to go against his instincts.

I'd say both of those have been right on as well .

he said what i would expect him to say about romo (and, i admit, i agree with him), but parcells' comments on jerry jones were interesting.
