I've brought shame on myself, my family, and the Eagles fan base as a whole. Not only was my tweet mean, it was inaccurate.

That is an absolutely terrible job by me, and my deepest, most heartfelt apologies go out to the honorable Travis Frederick, AKA "Fredbeard."

I grew up an Eagles fan, and as such, I was raised to hate the Dallas Cowboys. Still, my parents taught me to admit when I am wrong, and to do whatever possible to make amends. It's just the right thing to do. Therefore, as a penance, this Eagles writer would like to offer up a "nice tweet" to help offset the damage done by my "mean tweet."
