Wow looks like the set of a movie.

It really does. Like the next picture in the series would have had some sort of nuclear mutant peeking from behind the corner.

I want that big blue star. Probably weighs 1000 pounds.

Anyone got a jack hammer?

EXACTLY what I was thinking. Hell, that concession stand in the final photo would be a staple of my backyard patio grille!

sad to see it so old and lonely. I can't believe that nature is already relaiming it. Heck it was only a few months ago that they were playing in it.

Nature moves swiftly, for sure.

I guess the only time the 'old girl' will back come to life is in our memories! I remember the first time walking into the place for a Monday Night game vs. Green Bay in '96!! I loved Texas Stadium and it's memories!!!

the way they closed it out doesn't make this too sentimental to me, at least.

out with the old, in with the new.

Brainpaint was posting on here just a second ago... surely he can't be in two places at once?

I can't believe Jerry hasn't already sold it in small pieces.

I actually took a brick from my favorite old restaurant that closed down years ago. It was a place where my parents and brothers and sister and I went to celebrate our birthdays and other special events for many years

If I could, I would find a way to have a piece of Texas Stadium.

Isn't it slated for the wrecking ball? If yes, that would explain the neglect. No sense in spending money on something that will soon be destroyed anyway. It would've been nice if they could've transferred that big star, though. Why didn't they just move it with Landry?

It looked like that the last time I went to a game there.
