Prisco's opinion centered on the discipline that the former Cowboys offensive coordinator brings.

"He might be one of those coaches who is better running the whole show than just the offense," Prisco wrote. "The Cowboys are 2-1 with Garrett as the coach and could be 3-0, if not for a final-second drive by the Saints last week. The Cowboys play with a lot more discipline now than they did under Wade Phillips. He put them in pads, which has helped the blocking and tackling."

Judge believes the Cowboys look like a different team.

"I gained more respect for them in defeat than I did in their previous two victories, and here's why: Down 17-0 to New Orleans, they could've gone into a fetal position," Judge wrote. "But they didn't. Instead they fought back and came this close to pulling off a come-from-behind upset. That tells me these guys are playing hard for Garrett, and that's what I want to see."

I agree. We showed a lot of class in that loss. We still should have won and moral victories only go so far in this league but it is a great improvement.

If Jason gets the HC job, I would wish we could bring in someone who could run his offense for him so he could focus on being the CEO. And I don't mean Wade Wilson, who I consider a doofus of the highest order.

It was a good loss for several reasons, for me. First, if the Boys can't win it all, I'm for the Saints - second favorite team in the NFC. I want them to get home field throughout and win it again. And as long as we can't win it all, the best part of another loss is moving up the draft chart. And we're learning who has some fight left in them - crucial to getting a jump on the offseason and who we might want to look at.

Many hoped we would come out and start the season playing this kind of football and it would carry us to an historic Super Bowl. That was a pipe dream. But if Garrett or anyone else can keep this team playing the way it is right now, we would have a shot...

I never expected us to win all 8 games that were left when Garrett took over. While I totally believe that Wade wanted more to be liked then to drive this team, I also accepted that we've got some big weaknesses on this team which must be corrected before next season starts. It's all about the OL & our secondary with additional quality bodies needed on the DL, ILB & another RB.

But the Cowboys have played very well for Garrett. Upsetting the Giants & beating up on the Lions who gave the Pats all they could handle until the 4th quarter. We should have beat the Saints but a good play by a Saint player stripped the ball from RWilliams. Still the team played hard and with all their heart; something we didn't see much if at all early in the season. It's real nice to see this team has the guts to stand in their and slug it out.

Now comes another test for Garrett. Seems like every game that is coming up is another test. This test will be how the Cowboys deal with playing hard but losing to the Saint & whether they have the heart to bust their tail & play smart to beat the Colts. Was always very worried about the Saints cause had no doubt Payton would be prepared and they'd be up for us after his big win over them last year. I do believe the Cowboys can beat the Colts if we play hard and smart. Must caught down on fumbles, etc.

Unfortunately I won't get the game cause I'll be stuck with Bucs vs Falcons. Geez.
