Nice start to the Super Bowl mess
The Pro Football Writers Association has filed a complaint with the NFL regarding Indianapolis' arrival time in Miami for Super Bowl XLI on Monday.

The Colts don't arrive until 7:30 and coach Tony Dungy and selected players will be available an hour or so later. By arriving so late, the East Coast media, largely, will be under a serious crunch to get stories in the next day's paper. Chicago is arriving on Sunday and there is no such issue.

Here's a comment from NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, who held the PR job with the Cowboys before joining the league: "The teams are required to be in the Super Bowl city by the end of the day Monday. It's the team's option whether to arrive Sunday. Obviously, the Bears opted to do something different than the Colts. But it's no issue as far as we're concerned."

What a shame. They writers now have less time to write fluff pieces about Dungy and Smith's friendship.
