That was the first thing I thought. He can't be makin enough money to justify the purchase of a Bentley. I seriously hope h bought it on the secondary market at a deeply discounted price. either way, I expect he will be another rag to riches NFL payer story in the near future.
What a hater lol. I'm pretty sure if you get a 3.3 mill contract you can afford a bentley. Now can't. Nike nothing but big purchases but that yeah you can do that.

Ok. Let me approach it this way... Unless you have any idea when he purchased that car, you truly have no ground to say he blew his wad. He may have purchased it when he was drafted so I guess if you consider the fact that perhaps he did what many newly anointed thousansaires do when they enter the pro rank as blowing a wad then so be it. You have no idea how that car was acquired. Maybe his parents are rich. Perhaps he has a low level endorsement deal. Perhaps it's leased.....

Perhaps its stolen. :lmao: What the heck is wrong with our running backs? First we have an underwear thief now we have an auto thief.

Y'all are funny. His contract is worth 3.4mill and about a mill guaranteed. He makes over 800k a year. A Bentley runs about 180k or whatever and that's brand new. You realize people making way less than him own these same vehicles.

I am not saying he can't afford to buy it. I am saying it is a stupid purchase considering he could be out the league in the next few years without a major contract. Look, I have had two pro players in my neighborhood who have gone belly up. One was a 10+ year player. he had 4 luxury cars within two years he was liquidating those cars at less than half of their blue book value.

He is in year 3 of a 4 year 3.4M contract.

Exactly, let him blow out his knee next year and see what his earning potential is.

It's probably a lease at 2K per month.

What is the point of being young and rich if you never spend it. Maybe it is a lease.

Why would you think I'm hating? If I wanted one I would get one. I was at the Audi dealership this past week getting my car's routine service maintenance. They had a Bentley convertible on the lot if I wanted it I could have traded in my A8L and drove off with it. But in my opinion that would not be a wise move for me. Just because you can afford it doesn't make it a smart purchase.

It does when you consider the average NFL career is only 3 years and you were just traded for a conditional 7th round pick. Considering his net worth is only $2mm his annual salary is only $780k before agent fees, accounting fees, and taxes, that really doesn't justify driving a $250k car (that is losing value every day). He is one blown knee in a contract year away from being out of the NFL. I also suspect that if he spent that much on a car, he over spent on his house and spent significant money on other non-investment grade items as well.

#perspective.

The car is probably a lease anyways. I don't really care what he drives though. Also, quite a few players get loaner cars to drive around in on the house. I don't think CM is at that level, but who knows.

I will say this.....I seriously doubt that he drove it from Seattle :D

Of course it's not a lease. He dropped a cool 200,000 on it. At least that's what the judgmental people tell me.

I dislike all our RBs...I am an equal opportunity hater. Or at least equally disappointed. I was just laughing that some kid who isn't making a star salary is already blowing his wad... nothing to do with his play b/c frankly I know not a dan m thing about his play....

You will. Oh yes, you most certainly will.

I've always had a pretty decent fan barometer on Jerry's tendencies. I have plenty of examples over the years. My barometer tells me Jerry is not happy at all with the way CMike has been introduced to the offense thus far. It'll be interesting to see if he makes any public statements regarding the running back pool during the next two weeks.

Its just a ~$250k car...the vet minimum is multiples of that in a single year. no big

My little brother was a UDFA in 99. His salary was your typical "undrafted" rookie salary. His first ride was a Range Rover. Oooooh wow. Why would he ever do that??? He survived the judges back then and is doing great in is second career now after enjoying a wonderful 7 year stint in the league.

The Texas Highway Patrol trooper who pulled over a Dallas Cowboys running back and then took a picture with him -- will face disciplinary actions for the incident, TMZ Sports reported.

According to a representative of the Texas Highway Patrol, Michael's car was pulled over three hours before the game because it appeared his Bentley had illegal tint on the front windshield.

The trooper did not issue a ticket but took a photo with the player.

The real question here is who was more stupid. The Highway Patrol trooper, or Christine Michael for buying a Bentley when he has never been anything more than a 4th string RB? I'm going to go with Christine Michael.

Remember guys, I said stupid doesn't work in football. Hence, another reason Christine Michael has never amounted to **** in the NFL even though he clearly has some talent.

So can you Christine Michael fans shut the bleep up? :)

It seems the Dallas PD didn't appreciate the cop being a fan first and a cop second. Can't say as I blame 'em.
