Without Romo, most fans assume the season has been lost and it's time to look toward the future. The coaches and players don't see it the same way.

To them, the margin for error has just gotten smaller.

"If you're not motivated to find a way to win, you need to get off the team," linebacker Sean Lee said. "We need to make a move now. We have no more room for errors. We have to find a way to win games, get on a run if we want to save the season.

"We can't have performances like this. There are no excuses. We haven't played winning football, and we have to start doing that now or we're not going to be in the playoffs at all."

Lee added that he's not worried about the character of the team. He expects everyone in the organization to continue preparing like they have all season.

"I think we'll stay together," he said. "We care about each other very much."

After 10 games you think it's time to get motivated to win? No more room for errors? That urgency should of been there since game 1, not after losing 8 of 9 games. These guys are just saying what they think the fans want to hear............

yeah, but this says sean himself is frustrated, like witten was earlier when he said the same thing.
Ir is a stupid statement, but it suggests that him and witten feel like not all players are giving 100% ( maybe dez ??)

If you gave lee and witten power to cut any players, I bet they would cut some, who I dont know, but they would cut some.

It also means many are playing for a check and not to win, they want to win but if they dont it is ok with them.

I think this not wanting to win comes from JG and his lets watch the tape and get better mantra which after years has
made players ok with losing.

cowboys are listed as in the hunt, and are 16th seed !! lol
and sean lee is saying they need to start trying harder now !

the other funny thing is no one is going to quit a job that pays half a mil a year or more just because they are a slacker.
They would be a fool to quit, so why even say this ??
I can only surmise that sean is trying to say the team has some slackers, but cant say who.

season is over was over when romo went down the first time Thursday kinda showed you were the team was as far as playing against a better team. they are 3 and 8 you are what your record says you are.

They seem to be quite motivated, but I don't know whether that will translate into a win anytime soon. Will be interesting to see what we bring to the table against the Skins next week...
