As I typed that post, I realized something. MacMahon has really grown on me. I hated his stuff when he first got here - I thought he was awful. But I just realized that I have come to enjoy his stuff.

The Cowboys will beat the Bears. My prediction in the Sunday paper will be Dallas 20, Chicago 17. Still thinking about what my smart-alecky comment to go with it will be.

Scroll down a couple posts and you'll see that my colleagues don't have as much faith in the Cowboys. Try not to get too fired up about that. I wouldn't exactly call it disrespectful to predict that the Cowboys will lose on the road to the defending NFC champions.

The Bears' D is too good to think that the Cowboys will win pretty. I'd be stunned if this isn't a close game. And with the game on the line, I'll go with Tony Romo over Train Rex Grossman every time.

P.S. Before you get too excited about my pick, I should point out that I went 1-13-1 against the line last week, setting a SportsDay record for futility. But that doesn't count my Cowboys pick, and I'm 2-0 with the locals.

My prediction is that P. Crayton isn't allowed to field punts due to his finger , and that M. Barber does instead . He'll take the first one he returns back for a TD and one up Hester . TO will have one long TD reception , and Folk will kick two FGs .

The Bears will be able to move the ball fairly efectivly , but will stall in the red zone and be forced to kick four FGs . Hester will break one big one and McBriar will save the day with a one on one open field tackle .
