Later in the conversation, the Original 81 indicated that the sloppy performance by the Cowboys' offense against Philadelphia wasn't necessarily a surprise.

"If the media was here throughout the week of practice last week, there were some things that, you know, that kind of showed," T.O. said. "Some of the things that happened in practice were some of the things that happened in the game. We just weren't in sync, and that was the way we played. We just had a bad game."

To be honest, the only time he didn't talk was during Patriots Week, and you know how that turned out.

I am one of the biggest Anti-Owens guys around and nothing he said this week is anything remotely distractive.

The good thing about this is maybe the other teams will focus their initial attention to other areas besides TO. That happend earlier in the year. I don't think that will happen, but I can hope.

nothing wrong with it. but the media will twist it somehow. the fact is he needs to stop talking and get open and catch some passes. stop complaining about you not getting involved early when you drop passes when they finally come your way.

Well, what ever he's talking about better not show again.
Sounds like he's saying some slacking is going on, good for him.

Seems to me it was more Romo this last weekend than Owens. That was a sure 6 had Romo not overthrown.

i'm not blaming anyone. i'm just sick of hearing him the last 2 weeks. yes Romo overthrew him and owens also dropped a slant where he had major running room if he made the catch, same thing in detroit

You seem to be harping too much on T.O. and not the team as a unit. The defense played well, but there was still some missed opportunities on the defensive side of the ball.

The O-line missed on some blitz schemes by the Eagles, and the running game was non-existent due to Jason Garrett getting a little too pass happy.

T.O. said nothing wrong. Heck, Michael Irvin would have said more back in the day. And usually did.

Blame the media for your hysteria over T.O. They've done their job.

The Juicy stuff got sniped out.
Well, I did provide a link to it. I just thought this was more pertinent than any of the other stuff. :)

I also posted the transcript of the whole media session (including the juicy stuff) in the Daily Zone.

I'm absolutely sure Rampage was one of the people that were giving me and a few others the business last year when piling onto TO was the popular thing to do... He's having difficulty fighting the urge this year. Notice I didn't say "haters" mods. :)
