Dang Crawford couldn't even bench 225 during the season, and still played through it. Warrior

With Crawford healthy and the addition of Thorton and Collins our interior defense should be much improved. Maybe even McClain can stay healthy and contribute. I'm probably in the minority but I think our DL will be a strength this year.

Dallas' Dline will be underrated and will only improve as the season continues in my opinion.

If Romo & Dez are healthy and the team's offense can come close to the same production as the 2014 Season; I like our chances of getting into the playoffs.

Wilcox still learning 5 years into the position. Maybe he'll have it down in 10. lol

For those who don't feel like reading the article, here's what Wilcox was quoted as saying...

"I got to get better," Wilcox said. "I'm still growing at the position. This is my fifth year playing it. I've been playing offense all of my life. So, I still have a lot of upside. I just have to keep learning the game, study hard on the film, just be more consistent in open-field tackling and being the best safety that I can be."

Yeah, not a lot of room for excitement there. Wasn't Parcells' rule something like 3 years to show something? Wilcox almost appears to have peaked and is now moving downhill.

Yeah, I don't know about previously, but his play has definitely been "offensive" the last 5.

The Cowboys held their annual home run derby on Wednesday at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco. The event sponsored by Reliant helped raise $50,000 for the Salvation Army.
After stepping up to the plate for the first time, head coach Jason Garrett and the participating players stopped by to talk with reporters for a few minutes.

Here are 10 highlights from those conversations.

1.) Ezekiel Elliott did not take any swings. He was with the rest of the rookies in the outfield, shagging fly balls. But the fourth overall pick was a popular topic of discussion with the offensive linemen. Pro Bowl left tackle Tyron Smith was the first of the group to share his thoughts on what he's seen from Elliott during offseason work so far.

"He's a good kid," Smith said. "He's willing to come to work and willing to take advice. He's the right type of guy."

2.) Pro Bowl center Travis Frederick had a slightly longer response.

"I think he picks up stuff really quickly, which is what you like to see," Frederick said. "Early on, you see a mistake, but you see less and less throughout time. So, hopefully once we get into OTAs we can start seeing in a team atmosphere, we can see a really good evaluation."

3.) With organized team activities starting up next week, Garrett provided some details of what the Cowboys will be doing.

"Next week will be real football practice," Garrett said. "And we'll be out there going through what looks like a regular practice that we'll have during training camp and the regular season. Obviously different from the fact that we won't have pads on, but we'll structure the practice the same way.

"The last few weeks have been teaching sessions which were much more oriented towards individual stuff where you never go against the defense. The rules don't allow you to do that here in phase two. So you try to work on a lot of individual technique, individual fundamentals, and it's a great time of year for all us to get guys better and get a good foundation under us."

Man we all have our Carr moments but that guys is one stand up dude. Hard not to respect a guy like that.
