Do Free Agents want to play for BP?

They go where the money is.

Some do sure.

Not all of em.... some want money and a ring. I dont think Dallas is a premier place to play with Parcells here unless youre one of 'his guys'.

Would you want to play for that ****?

I wouldn't.

Who wants to play for a coach that goes around saying it's not his responsibility to coach, but then won't trust anyone else to do it either? And won't hire good coaches that can coach?

Maybe they don't figure they have a chance of coming here unless they're an ex-Jet.

I would say most FA's do not give a rats ....... They will play for the team that will give them the biggest paycheck.

I think he attracts as many players as he turns off.

I think players also don't want to walk into a situation where they sign a 4+ year deal, and the coach most likely won't last longer than 2.

Coach Coughlin, doesnt seem to have problem luring FA's to town. And he was widely know as a guy that many players hated to work under.

That a good point. But how do you gauge? As Commanders fans we saw the demise of Norv in Oakland as a given, but many Cowboys fans felt he deserved a second chance ?

I think Bill can attract talent, veterans more than draftees. I am not so sure if Dallas is all that on developing new players currently.

I am still wondering if Joe Gibbs isn't a short term risk as much as Bill is for leaving in the next few years. maybe more so as Joe seems to want more of a family life. That is not a bad thing but there is coaching in the bigs and selling your soul for the opportunity and having a life. I am pro-life myself but then I am so far away from being an A-type individual that my thinking is suspect.

If you have a passion for the game and a true desire to win, regardless of all of the other NFL b.s., I think you want to play for the coach that gives you the best chance to win, no matter how tough he is. I loved playing for those BP, Bob Night types. Even though you hate them sometimes, you respect them because they bring out the best in you.

None..who wants to play for a bloated overrated coach who has won nothing since 1990?
