I know we Cowboys fans get a lot of stick when we say we think we can win a Super Bowl. However, with the way Dak is playing, and with how our special teams has been, I think it's time to say this. Go fur it, Jerry! I don't normally like giving up first round picks, but our glaring issues are pass rush and linebacker. If we can get an elite pass rusher in Maxx Crosby, and if we have to give up one of our 4 firsts and maybe a few other non-first round picks, I think we should.
Besides, Overshown will be back soon. Can you imagine a defence with Crosby, Clark, and Houston up front, and then Sam Williams on another side? We might have something. I've also enjoyed watching Shemar James develop.
Additionally, making a move where you potentially give up a first and a mid round pick or two for Crosby sends a message to the team. It says that we think we can win now. With how our offense is, if we can get our defence quickly to being one of the best, we should. Plus, you think Crosby wouldn't be over the moon at getting a legitimate chance at a Super Bowl? You think the defence wouldn't be fired up? Think the Eagles wouldn't make this move if they think they had a chance? Of course they would, and so should we!
Furthermore, Crosby, aside from being great at rushing the passer is notoriously good at impeding the running back on run plays. He's a much more versatile player than Parsons in terms of his pass rush skills and his ability to help stop the run.
All in all, I think we should go fur it. I know the Commanders were without a lot of their top WRs, but that pass rush was better on Sunday. This move would boost the morale and the explosiveness of this team. If Dak can keep playing how he is, along with our kicking game, what do you think adding Crosby would do? You get an elite player like Crosby to compliment our offense? That's a team NOBODY wants to play. You get the offense the ball more. You get more opportunities. And Bland can probably get more pick six opportunities like he did on Sunday. Do it Jerry! Get Crosby!
