We have already had to delete multiple threads containing fake announcements.

If you want to post a rumor, make sure you include an official source link or media along with it.

Most importantly, if you are posting something you read off Twitter, assume it's fake until proven otherwise!

Posting fake rumors, even if you think they are true, will result in your ability to post being removed or severely limited!

Tip of the day ..

There are a lot of marketers on Twitter who create fake official-looking accounts with the goal of getting naive people to share them all over the internet so they can gain popularity for marketing reasons or to gain followers for when they eventually rename the account to sell something else, including things you may not want to be associated with.

Be smart! ... and think ... if it was posted on Twitter hours ago and no official new sources have announced it, it's most likely a fake rumor!
