I believe it had everything to do with the Broncos pass rush.

Peyton was horrible in that game but he didn't have to do anything. Hardy isn't going to make Peyton play much worse than he did.

For the most part I agree with both of you.

But.... The defenses were on par with each other.... I just wonder if Hardy makes that game changing play.

I don't see how any defensive end could have done much more than Ealy did.

Depends. Was Hardy going to block for Cam Newton or was he going to play QB for him so that he wasn't out there turning the ball over?

If the answer is no to either of those then, no, having Hardy would not have saved Carolina.
