So would you ask someone in person if they were married to their mother ?

(probably only if you were bigger than them)

In my line of work I do work for the company, Balfour, that made the replicas for the last 2 Cowboys superbowls, those rings were friggin huge they felt like they weighed a pound a piece I can only imagine what the real ones feel like.

What about Rowdy? Since he is a cartoon, is his ring made of plastic? (like the little rings that come in cereal boxes)...

I don't know about the NFL, but college teams that win National Championships give out rings to staffers and a some in the athletic department. However, these are not the same rings that the players wear. Let me explain.

My wife has been the Assistant Team Physician for LSU athletics, including the football players, since 2002. She does this on the side because it pays well in addition to her regular income. She does not have to travel with the team to games.

When LSU won, she was surprised to get a letter in the mail that asked her to show up at the Athletic Department for a ring fitting. She actually didn't want the ring, but I did. LSU allowed me to be fitted instead, but told me that the ring would have to have the word "Doctor" on the side of it, as this is the only way they could get it approved (in light of my wife's profession). They also told me that the ring would have diamonds, surrounding the letters "LSU", which would be in tanzanite (a very nice purple). It was also in 14K gold.

The players got another type of ring, which had the number "1" in diamonds. I personally like my ring better. The players' rings were made of 18K gold.

They also threw in a miniature ADT National Championship trophy made of Waterford crystal.

My avatar has a picture of me wearing the ring, and the miniature ADT trophy.

I wear the ring every single day.

After the 1987 season, the Commanders replacement players all got rings.

The truth is that the NFL already knows how much $$ they will be providing the champs for their rings next year. Then the owner takes that $$ and makes as many rings as he wants. But every cent over budget, he pays.

That's the way it works.

I asked something about this this past summer....so, I wonder if the Cheerleaders get replicas also?

A lot of team's cheerlearders are unpaid, so I'm sure they don't get a ring. Most cheerleaders make somewhere in the area of 50 bucks a game, kind of sh***y if you ask me

This is probably irrelevant, but when the Stars won the Stanley Cup in 99, even staff at the Star Center near Valley Ranch got the real deal.

Nothing like having a shiny bling bling like that one on your finger every day.

I can buy all the bling I want. Earning it or being a part of it, is something completely different.

No offense but, Did you help your wife with the band-aids or something that I am missing here ?
