Do teams share in away revenue?

My brother-in-law, who is huge Saints fan, wants me to go see the Saints and Boys in the Superdome this December. I do not want to put any money in Jerry Jones wallet with this pathetic excuse of a coaching staff. So I would not go to Dallas to see them but maybe an away game if it doesn't benefit Jerry. Of course it will probably be a long ride home with my Brother-in-law talking trash about the butt whipping we will probably get(Wades defense verses S. Paytons offense ).

Just fed up with an inferior product. The NFL is a business. The only way to send a message to Jerry is to quit spending money on his product. I will never root for another team but I will not buy anything Cowboy related until major changes are made!!! Watching on TV does not put money in Jerry's pocket.

Fair question. I'm okay with the players, I was happy for Miles Austin and I enjoyed the reaction of the team. I'm exasperated by the coaching and Jerry in general.

Where we differ is I'm not willing to throw the baby out with the bath water. However...even though I don't understand or agree with your hardcore stance, I respect it.

Watching TV does put money in Jerry's pocket because the teams share revenue from the TV contracts. Of course ratings are directly related to the size of the TV contracts

I support the players, but the coaching on both sides of the ball absolutely stinks although the special teams coaching has improved dramatically this year. I still root for the team and always want them to win but at the same time I am a realist. I think we have the players to win the SB but we will go nowhere with this coaching staff. If we did not have as much talent as we do then I would not have such a hardcore stance. If we had hired a new coach last year then I would not be this upset because there will always be some growing pains with a new staff. We peeked under Wade the first year and have only gotten worse since December 2007. Until Jerry changes coaches I will not put money in his wallet!!!

If I was a Neilson rater that logged what I watched then I would go watch at a friends house. Watching network TV is not pay-fer-view so no money goes directly to JJ.
