Do the Cowboys answer the test, or do we fail?

This last game of the season, to get better seeding, which team will show up? Will it be a team that plays tough football, and carries it into the playoffs with a better seed. Or a sloppy cowboys team with penalties, poor tackling and poor play leading us to a possible loss and worse seeding. Please give your thoughts

I expect the Cowboys to show up in a big way and get some rest to starters as well.

I think people pointing to last year's debacle at Washington are forgetting that the Cowboys had very little to play for in that game and that McCarthy had made the mistake of letting it be known all week that he and the coaching staff had planned to treat that game very much like a preseason game and would be "looking to rest our starters at some point in the game.." The situation is VERY different this year. The division title will be on the line as well #2 seeding and HFA against all but one team in the playoffs. This game is 100 times more important than last year's.

It's not going to matter coz Commanders will play this game to lose.........look for them to sit a lot of players, especially one nicked on contract years.

I hope so, history with this team doesn't always show the way that we want it to. I hope they're better mentally and will take care of business. I've seen this team with rest and still come out flat

They are going to kick the ever loving snot out of Washington, this team knows they can be the 2 seed and can have multiple home games, they won’t blow this one
Let me screen shot this for my files lol. Gotcha!!!!

Hopefully someone sits on you!!!! (Liking that posters comment about coog!) No but who knows what they will do, it will benefit them in draft positioning not to win. I hope they sit the disgruntled DT Payne and don't let him play be a healthy inactive

Washington has no motivation. Their season is over. They know they are getting a new HC. They are ready for the off season and the golf course.

There's multiple tests. Washington is an open book test, no reason to fail unless we actually suck. Then the WC game will be the next test. Divisional Round is the Mid-term, NFC Championship game is the Final. Super Bowl is the Final Final.

Idk. Last week the Niners and Washington game was 13-10 Niners at half-time. Doesn't look like a team that has no motivation to me.

they would love to piss us off, but in the end it helps them in no way in drafting

WASH will play this like their SB. They wont treat a rivalry division game like preseason. They still tried hart against the 9ers last week so i doubt they just let us roll trough and hang a 40 burger on them at home.

Cowboys better be ready not like the last weeks. Also its an away game in the cold. We tend to not like those games.

We fail the toughness test against SF or Balt. I don't see us beating either of those teams. We should show up versus Washington though but there could be a snowstorm Sunday!

For me it's already practically written in pencil for my projected playoff expectations.
Beat Commanders, host both a wildcard and divisional playoff game and most likely lose to SF in the championship game.
I mean, once the 2 seed opened up like it did I cant help but think that way combined with how we play at home vs. the road.
Apologies for the not so happy ultimate ending.

But only an opinion and opinions are often wrong.
Maybe mine will be wrong in a good way for this team and they go all the way.
Hope so.
