Losing to Washington in this type of situation was Jason Garrett's coached teams. Remember all the win and in type seasons...failed...
Well now it is MM's turn. These are different teams and better coached. Just hope the players execute better.
To be fair in most of the win and in situations that I recall of the Garrett era there was pretty much always extenuating circumstances at play.
2011 - Romo breaks hand against someone's helmet, plays the following week at Giants with a grapefruit where his had was supposed to be.
2012 - Romo 3 INT meltdown dooms us. Especially that last lazy lob out to the flat.
2013 - Romo ruptures disc in 15th game.. Cowboys have to play Philly with Kyle Orton at QB.
2019 - Dak not allowed to throw all week leading up to the Philly game after hurting his shoulder and throwing hand against the Rams.
Still the Cowboys have traditionally struggled at Washington and nobody expects them to want to lay down to help us out.
