Denver definitely has one of the best homefield advantages. If they take advantage of it or not is questionable.

I think of home field in a reverse to advantage. Is it a disadvantage to the visiting teams, do they dislike playing there?

I do not think the Cowboys home stadium is high on any team’s “rather not go there” list. They know that will most likely be one of the top two viewed games that weekend.

And the stupidly built East to West stadium seems to negatively effect the Cowboys more than the visiting teams.

On those late Sunday afternoon games, I usually hope it rains or is overcast. It seems to hurt Dallas more than hurts the other teams.
Thanks Jerry. :banghead:
Remember how mad he was after the TG game when asked about it.

He usually maintains his composure but lost it on that one.

As far as those windows....WE should get used to it and work it to our advantage.

The value of home-field advantage has long been ingrained in the NFL. Home teams track the decibel level of the crowd on their scoreboards. Coaches at midweek news conferences implore fans to show up & be loud. That's the extent of HF advantage in today's times lol.

Numbers don't lie but I don't think it's an advantage for Dallas. Especially on Thanksgiving lately:facepalm:

Long story short, the Cowboys win at home more than the NFL average and the numbers are there to back it up. Per a study from the Washington Post, the NFL has seen home teams hover around a home-field winning percentage of 52%. The Cowboys winning percentage at home over the last five years is 60%. That is a significant jump from the league average.

What about comparatively to the teams they see the most: the Philadelphia Eagles, the Washington Commanders, and the New York Giants? The Cowboys have the best winning percentage at home over the last five years among them as well.

    • Dallas Cowboys: 24-16 (.600)
    • Philadelphia Eagles: 23-16-1 (.575)
    • Washington Commanders: 15-25 (.375)
    • New York Giants: 12-28 (.300)
To be fair, the other NFC East teams haven’t been doing all that well in the last few years, so that certainly factors into these percentages...
Not much of one... unfortunitly

Don't blame the fans. We just are a middling team. Nothing great. But merch business remains great.
