Do the Saints have the edge on us...because of Sean Payton?

We all know Payton was very high on Romo...obviously Payton knows Romo's strong points AND weak points (I'm guessing there are weak points)

In any event....does this give the Saints an edge in the contest?

OR....do WE have the edge in this contest because of BP knowing PPayton's tendencies?

Opinions?

we have the edge because we are at home.
But Brees will throw for a lot of yds against us.
in terms of your question, the same film is available to everyone so bill knowing sean and vice versa doesn't effect anything

Maybe Parcells has the edge on them because he knows what Payton likes to do, their LB corp is made up of our players, and if Joe Horn's out, their #2 or 3 WR is going to be Terrance Copper.

It's gonna be a great game. :)

I must be the only one really not afraid of the saints. Their defense is terrible and we can beat everyone in their division and going to (car-them-and atl-tampa).

I just dont think that they're really that good I mean they can score some points, but again they're defense is terrible, and they're O-line is very shaky, but drew brees can move and you know how we fare when we cant sack the qb, but who covers T.O, witten, Glenn?

hell even crayton? and stop our 2 headed monster attack at rb?

The Saints currently have the edge for the first round playoff bye.

No way Dallas loses this game at home with the first round bye there for the taking.

I think it's game planning like that that really hurts a team in the end. Concentrate too much on a single player and others will hurt you.

I don't think so. This game will come down to the samething all games come down to and that is executing and making plays.

Wow.

It's not even close to that simple. Brees is lights out, Colston should be back, Henderson has been smoking people, and with our safety situation, that's a concern. McCallister has been solid, and it seems like the Saints ALWAYS have our number recently. Containing Bush will be big, especially when you look at what Tiki and Jacobs did to us in the pass game, but it's hardly the only thing.

lets be realistic guys reggie bush really had this one game against the 49ers! check out his other games and he really hasn't been that dangerous at all.

for a while people were saying that the texans didnt make a bad move because bush was so quiet and super mario was racking up sacks.

the real weapon that the saints been having all season is brees and the REAL rookie of the year....... WR COLSTON! thats right the 7th rounder out of hofstra.

If brees can start hitting him and devery henderson another deep threat, with joe horn then we might be in for a shootout.

Reggie bush has been inconsistent at best and I will definately not fear him more than i feared tiki barber thats out of the question.

Coaching is experience and knowing how to play chess. Both Payton and Parcells know each other quite well. But who has a deeper bag of tricks? The guy with the most coaching experience. This will be a counter-counter-counter-counter moves game but ultimately decided by the performances of each team's players.

I agree. In the end Coaches while they may call the plays they don't play the game that comes down to the players going out and executing and making the play.

I would think Peyton is helped the most cause you better believe he was carefully studying Parcells while here so he can use what he learned as future H/C & he's serving him well now. In fact I read after Saints signed Brees that Parcells told Peyton that Brees should be their QB--not Culpepper.

On other hand I'm sure there all kinds of tricks left in Parcells bag & think Soprano (who I didn't like as OL coach) might also be a big help if Peyton also wanted bring him alone. On defense Zimmer should also know what Gibbs is doing, etc.

I'm thinking Cowboys should have good game plan plus it big that we will be playing them at home. But we better bring pressure on Brees but maybe as important we better hit/knock their WRs off their stride within the 5 yards allowed at LOS. I'm betting rookies Colston & Henderson haven't experienced the kind we can produce. Copper can make big plays but also drops an awfully lot of passes. If we can do it to the Colt WRs we can do it to the NO WRs but they are good size guys?

It will be a tough game but we should win it cause their archilles heel is their defense and Romo will be on fire.

Brees was a dink-dunk QB in San Diego, but at New Orleans is asked to throw the deep ball more often. From what I have watched, he drops 7 and then scoots to the right. This is to give him more time to throw the deep ball, get him outside the tackles so he can throw it away. The problem I have seen is they have a tendency to overload the right side, leaving the left side wide open. Normally not a problem with most RDE, but I think Ware has the speed to make up that ground quick.

Unfortunately, if they run a reverse in that situation, Ware may have vacated the area and broken contain.

It will be an intersting game, but I think we win because we are better on both sides of the ball.

I don't think we have to worry about Reggie Bush . We need to worry about Marques Colston and if he'll plays or not.Everyone knows that our secondary is extreamly questionable. and Colston has the wheels to burn us. Our Rush D can contain Bush.

As far as payton and parcells it will def be a great chess match.
