is going to have a breakout year in 06?I do.I mean he is obviously incredible when he has a few holes.I mean most running backs who succeeded this year had a lot of holes, but when JJ has them he gets like 200.He has "it".I feel very good about this upcoming year.

I hope he can come in an have an injury free season if he can do that then I think he has the talent to be one of the top backs in the league but a lot will depend on him staying healthy as well as improvements along the line.

A little tentative to agree with you on this. Would definitely love to see him break out this season, and squash the injury tag on him.

He definitely showed that he possesses another level of talent in the Panther game, that our other RB's do not have. Now let's just see it for sixteen games...and then some!

Nothing has indicated that Julius Jones will have a breakout year.

The jury is still out on this guy imo.

Depends on what we do about our lousy OL during offseason.

I heard something about how Julius was going to work on his lower body strength during the offseason. If that works, look for Julius to have a huge breakout season. As long as he stays injury free, he can do well.

yes, mick said they are really starting to work his lower body already.

Gotta agree with you. I wouldn't mind spending all 2 of our top three of our draft picks on the Oline.

Do you know how all those fools in the 90s said that Emmitt wouldn't be so good if not for his great offensive lines? Well that was horse-hockey. Emmitt was great regardless of the OL.

But Julius Jones? Well, if they said Juius wouldn't be so good if not for his offensive lines I just might agree with that. I like the kid, but I agree with what Parcells told him late in the year - that it's time for Julius to create his own yardage/plays.

Emmitt did it; can Julius? The jury is still out and they're debating the big-fat-maybe!

I don't agree with this at all. Emmitt, IMO, definatly bennifited from a superior OL. In fact, I would say, the best OL that's ever played. JMO

True! I want him to succeed. I want him to be considered a steal in the second round two years ago. But until he can stay injury free, and stay hungry to improve, then the jury is still very much out on this one.

Plus, he will need some blocking in the 06-07' season. Especially if we want to still be playing deep into 07'.

We have seen the stats that he ranks at the top of RB's in yards after their first 21 games.

The question becomes, can he stay healthly?

Those stats over the first 21 games speak for themselves - he improved his pass catching this year greatly over last year IMO.

I would like to see more consistency, but it is hard to tell the effect the high ankle sprain had on him when he came back.

I think he definitely has the skills to be a top guy, but he has work to do. There is no reason to believe that he will not be successful from what we have seen IMO.

he plays better healthy like everyone else so I hope so.

If he doesn't I hope MBIII is ready to go. As everyone's already pointed out - fix the OLine and then we should have two efficient RB's.
